The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) plans to strengthen the combat potential of the Collective Forces through modern intelligence systems, electronic warfare, unmanned complexes and automation of command and control. This statement was made on May 26 by CSTO Secretary General Taalatbek Masadykov.

"In our area of responsibility, that is, within the internationally recognized borders of the CSTO member states, for more than 30 years of the Treaty's existence, we have managed to prevent or mitigate many crisis phenomena," RIA Novosti reports.
