The open Day will be held in libraries and cultural centers of Moscow.

On May 30, libraries and cultural centers in Moscow will host the educational event "United Open Day". Excursions, concerts, book presentations, lectures, master classes, and performances have been prepared for residents and guests of the capital, said Natalia Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of the capital.

"There are three hundred venues waiting for visitors in different districts of the city. Everyone will get acquainted with the work of cultural institutions, participate in creative meetings and literary quizzes, listen to poems by classics and young poets," said Sergunina.

For example, Library No. 54 will host a lecture entitled "Manuscripts don't burn. The Master and his Immortal Works", dedicated to the 135th anniversary of Mikhail Bulgakov's birth. The Mayak Cultural Center will present a musical program in honor of Sergei Yesenin. The Ostrovsky Library No. 16 will host a guided tour of the Moscow of the Nineteenth and Twentieth Centuries photo exhibition.

A rock concert of graduates of the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music is being organized in the Central Library No. 197 named after A.A. Akhmatova. A concert of piano music will be held in the Pushkin Library-reading room.

A series of practical exercises is planned at many venues. For example, master classes on clay modeling and the creation of watercolor paintings will be held in library No. 49. The Meridian Cultural Center will teach you how to assemble robots, and the library No. 97 will teach you the basics of chess.

The O.E. Mandelstam Library No. 60 will present an exhibition of children's drawings "Pushkin's Fairy Tales pages". It will also host a meeting of writers and poets "Here is the Russian spirit, here it smells of Russia" and organize a harp concert "I remember a wonderful moment."
