Places of concentration of teenagers began to patrol in Tula
In Tula, they began patrolling places of concentration of teenagers to prevent crime in the summer. The raids are carried out weekly at night, TSN24 reported on Monday, May 25.
Employees of the Department for the prevention of neglect and juvenile delinquency, representatives of the City Ministry of Internal Affairs and activists of the All-Russian Popular Front are taking part in the inspections.
Law enforcement officers visit courtyards, parks, squares, playgrounds. During the raids, conversations are held with teenagers, thematic booklets and memos on the prevention of child injuries and offenses are distributed.
Parents are reminded that it is important to monitor children in the summer, especially in the evening and at night. From April 1 to October 31, a fine of 500 to 2,000 rubles is provided for children under the age of 16 in public places unaccompanied by adults after 22:00.
Earlier, Izvestia wrote that on the eve of the summer holidays, many teenagers are looking for work and, in anticipation of easy money, become victims of organized crime. Among the criminal "side jobs" are remote fraud, droperism and participation in drug trafficking.
