FC Milan changed its leadership after absenteeism in the Champions League
On May 25, Milan Football Club announced the dismissal of CEO Giorgio Furlani, head coach Igli Tare, as well as sports and technical directors Massimiliano Allegri and Jeffrey Moncada.
"After last year's disappointment, the management set the club the task of returning to the Champions League and laying the foundation for stable victories at the top of Serie A," the club said in a statement on its website.
It is noted that Milan occupied the top two positions for most of the season, but during the final stage the team lost all the results. At the same time, the defeat in the final, according to the report, "turned the season into an unequivocal failure."
On December 30 last year, FC Milan replaced its head coach for the second time in a year, announcing the departure of Paulo Fonseca. He has served as head coach since June 2025. Before him, this post was held by Stefano Pioli.
