Sollers has introduced a new version of the Sollers SA9 bus in Russia

The Sollers group presented a pre-production model of the Sollers SA9 tour bus equipped with an automatic transmission at the TransportFest festival in St. Petersburg. The model is currently undergoing the final stage of certification tests, and the production version will go on sale in the fourth quarter of 2026. This is stated in the company's message, which was received by Izvestia on May 25.

The automatic version of the Sollers SA9 is positioned as a universal solution for long-distance transportation and sightseeing trips on city streets. The bus is equipped with a six-speed gearbox with a push-button unit on the left armrest. The novelty is equipped with a 370 hp diesel engine that meets the Euro-5 environmental standard.

The equipment includes LED optics, a complex of electronic assistants, a system of external and internal cameras. An optional lane departure warning system, blind spot monitoring, and a frontal collision warning feature are available.

The cabin accommodates up to 53 passengers, the volume of luggage compartments reaches 9.1 cubic meters. The advantages of the car are the high floor level and panoramic glazing, and a convenient workplace for the guide is provided. The passenger seats have a combined finish and adjustable backrests and folding tables. Luggage racks, individual ventilation deflectors, illuminated USB ports for charging mobile devices and atmospheric lighting with contour LED lighting are provided. It is possible to install refrigerators and bathrooms.

According to Autostat, 35 Sollers SA9 buses were sold in Russia by the end of 2025. Production of Sollers buses began at the Vladivostok plant in September 2024, they are rebranded Chinese Ankai models. Sollers announced plans to produce up to 1.5 thousand buses per year.

The Modern Transport Technologies company said that the tractor was the result of a deep technical reworking of the first version of the car, taking into account the requests of Russian carriers.
