A St. Petersburg man who doused his ex with acid threatened to kill her family

A St. Petersburg man who attacked his former lover with a knife and doused her with acid had previously threatened to kill the girl's family and then get to her. The victim's father informed Izvestia about this on May 25.

"When he started stalking her, he scared her, he said: "I'll slaughter your whole family so that you suffer, and then you," the man said.

According to him, the St. Petersburg man has already appeared in a similar story — his other ex-girlfriend ended up in the burn ward after a similar attack.

Commenting on his daughter's condition, the man added that she is still in intensive care with burns to 35% of her body, which is considered a serious condition. The incident could also affect her eyesight — as the doctors explained, one eye could be damaged.

A source from Izvestia reported on May 23 that a man broke into his ex-lover's apartment on Zheleznovodsk Street with a knife, a pistol, a gas canister and a can of acid, which he threw in her face. After that, he inflicted multiple stab wounds on her. Later, the attacker was arrested until July 23.
