Russians confessed their love for business trips

Most Russians have a positive attitude towards business trips and perceive them as an advantage of work. This is evidenced by the results of a joint study of the OneTwoTrip for Business service and the online recruitment platform. hh.ru which were reviewed by Izvestia on May 27.

According to the survey, 62% of Russians said they like to go on business trips. At the same time, those who do not like working trips at all turned out to be five times less — only 13%.

Thus, men are more likely to be ready for intensive trips: 21% of men versus 16% of women consider more than 10 trips a year convenient for themselves. Residents of Moscow, Krasnoyarsk and Yekaterinburg turned out to be the biggest fans of business trips. Among the professional fields, specialists from marketing, advertising and PR, law, as well as retail and trade showed the highest interest in business trips.

Russians cited the change of environment and the opportunity to escape from routine, professional development and career growth, as well as the chance to see new places at the expense of the employer as the main reasons for the popularity of work trips. In addition, almost a third of the study participants noted the importance of personal communication with colleagues and partners.

"We see that business trips have become a powerful loyalty tool today. Employees appreciate the opportunity to change locations and gain new experiences at the expense of the company," said Stepan Mastryukov, head of OneTwoTrip for Business.

According to him, 58% of Russians consider business trips to be a way to prevent professional burnout, and 29% associate business trips with the image of an employer as prestigious.
