More than 60 violations were found at a coal mine in the Amur region

In the Amur Region, the Ogodzhinsk Coal Company was brought to justice for gross violations of industrial safety requirements. She was fined 0.5 million rubles. The decision was made by the Selemdzhinsky district court.

IA PriamurMedia, referring to the press service of the courts of the Amur region, writes that during an inspection of the coal mine in the Selemdzhinsky district, Rostechnadzor employees found 62 violations. Some of them directly threatened the life and health of the employees.

The company claimed that the violations were not serious, half of the comments were eliminated during the inspection, and some more after it, and in order to eliminate the remaining violations, it is necessary to resume the production process. The company also claimed that the deadlines for eliminating some violations had been extended until the summer.

The court did not agree with this position, and the absence of key elements of the security system indicates a direct threat to employees. The law classifies such violations as gross. The company was found guilty and fined 500 thousand rubles. The company's activities have not been suspended.

At the end of April, it was reported that in the Amur region, a large gold miner, JSC Pokrovsky Mine, caused soil damage in excess of 29 million rubles. This was calculated by the Amur Interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor. In the soil samples, experts found an excess concentration of pollutants such as sulfur, chromium, manganese and cobalt.
