VTB and Magnit have announced a partnership
VTB and Magnit have announced a partnership project that includes the launch of a payment service and grocery delivery services from the retailer's stores using the bank's mobile application. The implementation of the services will begin at the end of May, with a potential audience of 80 million people, the VTB press service said.
"We strive to give our clients the maximum benefit from regular interaction with the bank and our partners," said Olga Skorobogatova, First Deputy President and Chairman of the Management Board of VTB.
Evgeny Slutchevsky, CEO of the Magnit Group of Companies, stressed that the partnership with VTB had allowed the customer offer to reach a new level. "The launch of financial services is fully consistent with our mission: to be close to the customer, to provide them with the best choice and the best benefits every day," he commented.
In April, Skorobogatova said that VTB is building a new model of working with retail customers, focused on solving their daily tasks in one application. To implement this strategy, the bank has selected key partners in various fields, including food, entertainment, and tourism. Skorobogatova also announced the imminent launch of a "super project with the largest retailer." According to her, in the coming years VTB will continue its sustainable development "in the interests of clients and solving their daily financial and non-financial issues."
According to the companies, VTB services are available in 4.5 thousand service points, as well as in 23 thousand post offices. Magnit's network consists of 33.5 thousand stores.
