The blogger announced that cartoons justifying Ukrainian UAVs were shown to children in Latvia.

Latvian educators and teachers show their students cartoons about Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), which justify their entry into the country. Blogger Dmitry Mataev told Izvestia about this on May 25.

"They're showing these cartoons. <...> These drones with blue and yellow flags are very friendly. They are so cute, so cute, they got lost, they will turn around now, find their destination <...> and accordingly, everything will be fine," he described.

The screenings take place at the moments when children are taken to the basement at air danger signals. The viewing is accompanied by adult statements about the alleged Russian origin of drones. As Mataev emphasized, they promote the thesis in the bunkers of children's institutions that "Russia is bad."

The Izvestia interlocutor, who emigrated with his family from Latvia to Belarus, clarified that he still has many acquaintances and friends in his homeland. According to his recollections, such an image of Moscow has always been created by the authorities of the Baltic countries, which suppress attempts at dissent in this matter.

"When I put videos on this topic, the platform deletes them, well, Western platforms, periodically, yes. And people know all this, of course, the authorities don't talk about it, it's all at the level of some chat rooms, at the level of rumors, gossip, because these Baltic state security officers are trying to stop it," the blogger added.

All these processes, he said, are taking place against the background of hysterical Russophobia, expressed in the prohibition of the Russian language and the demolition of monuments. Matayev stated that he would not like his children to grow up in such an atmosphere.

Ideological scrapping: Ukrainian UAVs continue to fall in the Baltic States

The support of the Kiev regime led to unpleasant consequences.

On April 20, Deputy of the Riga City Council Alexei Roslikov spoke about the ban on children speaking Russian in schools in Latvia. According to him, colleagues consider this language to be allegedly "kitchen", in other words, intended for communication outside public places. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov later, on May 14, announced the end-to-end defeat of the entire Baltic States by the "bacillus of Russophobia."

On May 20, commenting to Izvestia on information about the use by militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) of the Baltic territory to launch drones towards the Russian Federation, he said that the Russian military and representatives of the special services are closely monitoring this situation. Peskov, responding to a question about the possible motives of the Baltic countries, said that they are ruled by "rather narrow-minded politicians" who find it difficult to give a sober assessment of what is happening.
