Ukraine's air defense systems unsuccessfully repelled Russian retaliatory strikes. This was reported on May 24 by the Ukrainian newspaper Strana.ua" with reference to sources.
"Ukrainian monitoring publics admit that the air defense system did not repel these attacks very successfully and there were many arrivals. Even according to official data from the command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, not a single Dagger or Zircon missile was shot down," the publication says.
