The final of the Cup of Holy Warriors of Russia was held in the Moscow region
The final of the All-Russian spiritual and sports project "Cup of Holy Warriors of Russia" was held in Ramenskoye, Moscow region. This was announced on May 24 by the organizers of a large-scale patriotic festival.
"Rather, this is not just a sports competition, but a missionary, spiritual and athletic one, in order to awaken in children this thirst for knowledge of our centuries-old history," said Andrey Kormukhin, founding coordinator of the Sorokov Sorokov movement, chairman of the all—Russian public movement Family.
The main purpose of the patriotic event is to remind the younger generation about the exploits of the great historical figures of the country — from Alexander Nevsky to the last Emperor Nicholas II. The final stage of the competition was dedicated to the memory of the emperor. The young athletes demonstrated their skills in boxing, sambo and army hand-to-hand combat.
Alexey Oleinik, a representative of the Healthy Fatherland movement and a fighter of mixed martial arts (MMA), noted that at such demonstration performances young men can test their strength, establish friendly contacts with their peers and become stronger spiritually. In the future, the stages of the sports festival are going to be held not only in the capital region, but also in other regions of the country.
The first stage of the Cup of the Holy Warriors of Russia was held in Mytishchi on December 27, 2025. The event, held at the Builder Sports Complex, became a vivid symbiosis of sports, history and spiritual traditions of thousands of years, bringing together about 600 athletes, 500 spectators and honored guests. It was clarified that the tournament dedicated to the legendary warrior-monk Alexander Peresvet opened with a solemn prayer service, after which the audience witnessed spectacular competitions in three disciplines: boxing, army hand-to-hand combat and sambo.
