European Gymnastics has officially announced the return of the flag and anthem to the Russians. The corresponding release was posted on the organization's website on May 24.

"European Gymnastics will follow the decision of World Gymnastics (International Gymnastics Federation. — Ed.) on the lifting of all restrictions applicable to the participation of Russia/ Belarus, since the special rules of World Gymnastics are no longer in force," the message says.

Mikhail Degtyarev, the head of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation, told Izvestia after the decision of World Gymnastics that it restored the integrity of all gymnastic sports and the Russian national team.
