President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and his French leader Emmanuel Macron had a telephone conversation on May 24, during which they discussed regional issues and relations between Minsk and Brussels.

"The telephone conversation between the presidents of Belarus and France <...> took place today on the initiative of the French side," said the Telegram channel Pool One, which is close to the Belarusian leader.
