Rodion Miroshnik, the Russian Foreign Ministry's Ambassador-at-large for crimes of the Kiev regime, said on May 24 that the attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the center of Luhansk were actions of a "Nazi nature" and demonstrated "omnivorousness."

"Ukrainian UAVs hit the very center of Lugansk. According to local authorities, two civilians were injured, but it seems that the strike was more demonstrative. The Nazis are omnivorous. That they intend to attack civilian targets even in the very center of large cities, and no rules will stand in their way," the Telegram channel said.

Miroshnik clarified that the strike was carried out about a kilometer from the main building of Lugansk University, whose branch had previously been attacked in Starobilsk.

On May 22, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the academic building and the dormitory of the Starobilsk College. At the time of the impact, 86 children aged 14 to 18 were there. A criminal case was opened into the attack under Part 3 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Terrorist act"). As a result of the incident, the five-storey dormitory building collapsed to the second floor. On May 23, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported 10 dead and 38 injured. Another 11 people are missing.

Russian President Vladimir Putin called a terrorist attack on a college dormitory. He also noted that the attack was not related to the military infrastructure, as there is none in the area.
