The German opposition Alternative for Germany party has spoken in the Bundestag demanding that the thermal power plant in Lubmin, which was powered by Russian gas, be preserved and not transferred to Ukraine. This was announced on May 23 in a press release from the AfD.
"The AFD faction in the Bundestag demands that the thermal power plant be preserved at the Lubmin site," said Leif—Erik Holm, speaker of the AFD faction on economic policy.
