Vegas beat Colorado in the second semi-final match of the NHL playoffs

The Vegas Golden Knights defeated the Colorado Avalanche in the second match of the National Hockey League (NHL) semifinal playoff series. The match took place on May 22 and ended with a score of 3:1.

Among the winners, Russian forward Ivan Barbashev scored a double, hitting the opponent's goal in the 52nd and 59th minutes. Jack Aikel scored another goal in the 50th minute. The only goal for Colorado was scored by Ross Colton, who scored in the 17th minute of the match.

In addition to the two goals scored, Ivan Barbashev scored an assist. In total, in 14 matches of the current playoffs, the Russian player scored 12 points (five goals and seven assists).

Vegas, which became the winner of the Pacific Division following the results of the regular season, beat Utah (4:2 in the series) and Anaheim (4:2) on the way to the semifinals. Colorado entered the playoffs as the winner of the regular season, in previous rounds the team was stronger than Los Angeles (4:0) and Minnesota (4:1).
