The Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia has declassified documents about how Soviet prisoners of war of Ukrainian nationality were recruited in the Stalag-326 Nazi concentration camp. The relevant archival documents were published on the FSB website on May 23.

"The method of educating people inside the camp was very careful, using the slogans "For a free and independent Ukraine, purely national" and "To help our fellow Ukrainians.".. These lectures talked about the Ukrainian nation and its Aryan purity, about its past independence and former order. Russian Russians are two big differences, and they say that Ukrainians were, are, and should be superior to other nations, especially Russian and Polish. The idea of all these lectures was very similar to the German, Hitlerite idea," the article says.
