The International Bandy Federation (FIB) has cancelled the World Group A Men's and women's Championships in 2027 due to financial problems in Finland, Norway and Sweden. This was reported on 21 in the FIB press service.
"Last season's Group A World Championships for men and women were held outdoors in Pori, Finland. However, these tournaments will be suspended in the upcoming season. Finland, Norway and Sweden have decided not to participate in the upcoming season for financial reasons, so the tournaments in Group A cannot be held," the publication says.
