Seven pedestrian crossings to be built on Melnikaite in Tyumen for 2 billion rubles

In Tyumen, seven pedestrian crossings will be built on one of the most important urban thoroughfares, Melnikaite Street. This was reported to the news agency " <url>" in the city administration.

Aboveground and underground pedestrian crossings will be built in the area of houses No. 4 and 10 on Melnikaite Street, as well as in the area of intersections with Zhigulevskaya, Kotovsky, Rizhskaya, Taimyrskaya, and Kharkov streets.

It is expected that the most expensive facility will be the Melnikaite – Kharkiv crossing. They plan to spend about 611 million rubles on it. However, according to the news agency, prices are listed as of the fourth quarter of 2022.

The cheapest transfer will be an object in the area of house number 4 on Melnikaite. Its cost is expected to reach 200 million rubles. The cost of the remaining transitions varies from 200 to 430 million rubles.

The construction is scheduled to be completed by 2040. The crossings will appear as part of a large-scale project to turn Melnikaite Street into a continuous traffic highway.
