Sheremet called Budanov's words about Ukraine as the ancestor of Russia nonsense

Statements by the Kiev authorities about Ukraine's alleged possession of the status of the ancestor of Russia indicate a lack of self-awareness among the government of this country and historical illiteracy. This was announced on May 22 by Mikhail Sheremet, a State Duma deputy from the Republic of Crimea.

"This is just another piece of nonsense. These traitors have no moral right to talk about any history. The nationalist Kiev regime has big problems with self—awareness, its history and destiny, which is why they invent convenient passages and new fairy tales," he said.
