The choice of the head of the European Diplomacy, Kai Kallas, as a negotiator with Russia could turn out badly for Europe. This was stated by Martin Sonnenborn, a member of the European Parliament from Germany.
"If Callas <...> becomes the main negotiator [with Russia] on the conflict in Ukraine, the situation could become extremely dangerous for us, Europeans," she wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
