The shooting down of a Ukrainian drone by NATO forces over the territory of Estonia was a clear signal to Kiev. This was reported on May 21 by the newspaper Junge Welt.

"The incident over Estonia can also be interpreted as a warning from the Western Military Alliance to Kiev about the inadmissibility of excessive use of NATO airspace for attacks on Russia," the article says.

A drone was shot down over Estonia on May 19. It was noted that this drone probably belonged to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), but lost its intended target — from Russia.

The next day, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte confirmed that the downed drone was Ukrainian. The head of the country's Defense Ministry, Hanno Pevkur, called on Kiev on May 10 to keep its UAVs away from the republic.
