Two people died as a result of a fire in a private apartment building in the Bichursky district of Buryatia. This was reported on May 22 in the Main Directorate (GU) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the republic.

It is specified that as a result of the incident, the room burned out on an area of 18 sq. m. Four specialists and two pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing. The Ministry of Emergency Situations added that experts are working to determine the cause of the fire.

The governor of the Moscow Region, Andrei Vorobyov, announced on May 21 that a house had caught fire in Lobnya, Moscow region, killing two people.
