Repair of Komsomolskaya Street in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk will be completed by September

In Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, they plan to complete the renovation of Komsomolskaya Street in the section from Purkaev Street to Yesenin by September. This is reported by the city administration.

Repair work on Komsomolskaya Street began in early May. Road workers will have to completely replace the asphalt pavement, update the curbs and sidewalks, as well as put the stormwater drainage area in order.

According to Mayor Sergei Nadsadin, the pit repairs will be completed by early summer, after which more extensive work will begin. There are no plans to completely block the road while the street is being renovated.

According to SakhalinMedia news agency, about 20 pieces of equipment are involved at the facility. There are no delays from the schedule. It is planned to complete the work by the beginning of autumn.

In January, it was reported that in the Sakhalin Region in 2026 they plan to implement 14 projects for the improvement of public spaces located in villages. The total amount of financing will amount to 1.15 billion rubles, of which 422 million will be from the federal budget.
