The weather forecaster announced the third consecutive record of daily temperature in Moscow.

The record daily air temperature was broken in Moscow on Thursday, May 21. Mikhail Leus, a leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, reported this on his Telegram channel.

"As expected, by 17:00 today, the air temperature in the capital exceeded the previous daily record, which for May 21 was +29.2 degrees and has lasted since 2014," the Moscow City News agency quotes the forecaster.

He also noted that, according to the city's base weather station, VDNKh, the temperature reached +29.7 degrees.

The exact value of the new record will be known after 21:00, Leus concluded.
