The case of the death of a child in a warehouse of logs in Arsenyev was brought to court

In Arsenyev (Primorsky Krai), the investigation of the criminal case on the death of an 11-year-old boy, who was crushed by one of the logs stacked, has been completed. This is reported by the regional SU of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

The tragedy occurred on a plot of land near Vokzalnaya Street, where an individual entrepreneur placed sawn logs, stacking them. At the same time, he did not protect the danger zone and did not install warning signs, anyone could get into the territory of which he is not the owner.

On the afternoon of March 22, an 11-year-old boy entered the police station. He climbed onto a stack of logs that was not fixed in any way, as a result of which a shift occurred. One of the logs fell on the child, causing him severe injuries. The boy died on the spot, writes IA PrimaMedia.

The investigation of the criminal case under Part 1 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Causing death by negligence" has been completed. The materials were submitted to the court for consideration on the merits. According to the Criminal Code, the entrepreneur faces up to two years in prison.
