The Library of the Future project has been completed on the capital's City of Ideas platform. 7 thousand people took part in it, said Natalia Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of Moscow.

According to her, within the framework of the project, users discussed new technological solutions for libraries subordinate to the Department of Culture, offered ideas for the development of websites and social networks.

"Muscovites have sent more than 2,000 initiatives. Among the most interesting are the installation of devices for automatic book delivery, the creation of an AI consultant and a chatbot for digital resources with personal literature recommendations, and much more. Following the results of the project, the experts selected 29 promising ideas for implementation," Sergunina said.

Thus, collections of popular books, authors, and events of the month based on reviews from citizens will appear on online library platforms.

Social media content will also become more diverse. Local bloggers' reviews will be posted there in the "One Day at the Library" format. Users also appreciated the idea of publishing posts about the staff of institutions and internal processes: how publications are selected, literary evenings or classes for children are organized.

In addition, media screens with announcements of upcoming events will be installed in cultural spaces.
