Russian President Vladimir Putin presented state awards to People's Artists of the RSFSR Yuri Antonov and Nadezhda Babkina in the Kremlin on May 21.

It is specified that the artists were awarded the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, I degree. Putin, addressing Antonov and Babkina, stressed that their work inspires Russians.

"This is the great value of art and the value of our talents," the head of state said.
