The leader of the group "Hands Up!" spoke about the money lost due to default
During the tour of the band "Hands Up!" her "Gazelle" was filled with money, but due to the default in 1998, there was nothing left. This was announced on May 21 by the group's leader Sergey Zhukov.
Zhukov noted that in 1998 the band went on a big tour, during which the musicians performed in 20-25 sports palaces. According to him, the entire Gazelle in which the participants were traveling was littered with large black bags of money, which are used for garbage.
"We're driving like koshchei, who are wasting away over gold: "Wow! We've earned so much!" And then they call, imagine, and say, "Guys, can you quickly try to change the money somewhere? Otherwise, in an hour everything you have in your car will turn into a hundred dollars." As a result, we lost everything in one second, just like our whole country at that moment," Zhukov recalled in an interview with RIA Novosti.
On April 21, the band "Hands Up!" was included in the list of nominees for the MUZ TV award in the "best band" category. Immediately after the announcement of the shortlists in each nomination, the second stage of expert voting is launched, and at the same time an open viewer vote starts on the TV channel's website.
