The father of actress Olga Pogodina was in intensive care
The father of actress Olga Pogodina, who is the widow of recently deceased TV presenter Alexei Pimanov, was admitted to intensive care due to acute purulent mumps. This was announced on May 21 by a source of Izvestia.
"Stanislav Yuryevich Bobovich, 86 [years old], acute purulent mumps on the left, <... He has been in intensive care for several days," he said.
The source added that the actress is worried about her father's condition. The man is currently undergoing conservative treatment.
Pogodina's husband died on April 23 at the age of 65 due to a heart attack. In 1996, the journalist became one of the founders of the Ostankino TV channel, as well as the main presenter of the Man and the Law program. Later, he became president of the Krasnaya Zvezda media holding, where he also wrote scripts for films.
Actor Stanislav Duzhnikov, in a conversation with Izvestia, called the journalist a man of great soul. On the same day, a farewell ceremony with Pimanov took place. His family, friends and colleagues gathered at the funeral event.
