Any aggression against Russian citizens in Transnistria will receive an immediate response. This was stated on May 21 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, answering a question from Izvestia.

According to her, Ukraine's "inflated reaction" to the issue of Russian citizenship is inappropriate for residents of Transnistria.
