The Geely Coolray crossover, which dropped out of the brand's lineup at the end of last year, returned to the Russian market in an updated form. The model went on sale at a price of 2.89 million rubles, it is available in one package. This is stated in the message of the brand's press service, which was received by Izvestia on May 21.

It is noteworthy that the Coolray turned out to be more expensive than the larger Cityray crossover, which in the basic version costs from 2.85 million rubles.

The Geely Coolray is offered with a 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbo engine with a power unit output of 147 hp (270 Nm). The motor is paired with a seven-speed robot with two wet clutches. The average fuel consumption in the combined cycle is 6.5 liters per 100 km. There are four modes of driving settings.

Compared to the pre-reform model, the Coolray has a redesigned grille, an updated bumper, an enlarged rear spoiler, 18-inch black wheels in a new design and red brake calipers. The crossover is offered in a single body color called "purple mother of pearl" (Unicorn Grey) with a contrasting black roof.

The list of equipment includes a panoramic roof with a curtain and a sunroof, transparent sun visors, wireless charging for gadgets, an all-round camera system with a "transparent chassis" function, rear parking sensors, an electric driver's seat, separate air ducts in the second row, an electric trunk door, a package of winter options, including electric heating of the windshield. The interior is finished in black eco-leather with contrasting red inserts, and the front doors have atmospheric lighting.

The crossover also has an 8.8-inch digital dashboard and a 14.6-inch multimedia system screen with support for Apple Carplay and Android Auto over the wire. The list of safety functions and assistants includes, among other things, traffic sign recognition systems, tire pressure monitoring, lane keeping, and intelligent cruise control. The model is equipped with six airbags, including two side airbags.

A similar crossover called the Belgee X50+, manufactured in Belarus, entered the Russian market in March. It is also equipped with a four-cylinder gasoline turbo engine with a volume of 1.5 liters with a capacity of 147 hp and works in conjunction with a seven-speed preselective automatic transmission with a dual "wet" clutch. On April 2, the model went on sale in a new top-end configuration at a price starting from 2.78 million rubles.
