Two people were killed in an attack by Ukrainian drones on Syzran

As a result of an attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) attack on the city of Syzran in the Samara region killed two people and injured several others. This was announced on May 21 by Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev.

"The Ukrainian Armed Forces is attacking Syzran with UAVs. <...> Two people died due to the inhumane actions of the enemy. <...> There are also victims," he wrote on the Maks messenger.

The Governor expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and said that all necessary assistance was being provided.

Drones are mainly targeting civilians — almost 85% of the affected civilians were hit by UAVs in April.
