The match between Spartak and Loko in the MHL series ended in a mass brawl

The fourth match of the final series of the Youth Hockey League (MHL) between Loko Yaroslavl and Spartak Moscow, which took place on May 20, ended in a mass brawl.

The meeting in Moscow ended with the victory of Yaroslavl in overtime with a score of 3:2. After this game, the score in the series of up to four wins became equal — 2:2.

A scuffle broke out at the end of the meeting immediately after Loko's winning goal, when one of the Yaroslavl club's players drove up to Spartak's goalkeeper. At the same time, several fights broke out on the ice between hockey players. Loko striker Roman Luttsev needed medical help, and was led into the locker room.

Following the incident, the referees removed Spartak players Ivan Gavrilov, Danil Kochurov, Silanti Kozhushko and Yuri Ivanov. The latter also received a disciplinary fine. Gennady Chaly and Andrey Yelezov received penalty time as part of Loko.
