A new round of negotiations between the United States and Iran may take place after the Hajj. This was announced on May 20 by Al Arabiya TV journalist Abdullah Khaluf.

"After the Hajj season, there will probably be a round of negotiations to conclude an agreement," he said, as the video was posted on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

In addition, Khaluf noted that Pakistan has been developing an agreement on Iranian enriched uranium and the Strait of Hormuz for about two weeks.

On May 20, US President Donald Trump said that Washington was not in a hurry to make decisions on the situation around Iran and the Strait of Hormuz and was ready to give a chance to a diplomatic settlement. According to the American leader, the Strait of Hormuz should be opened as soon as possible.
