EP summed up the results of the implementation of the national program in the eastern suburbs

The forum "There is a result!", dedicated to the results of the implementation of the people's program of the United Russia Party in the field of housing and communal services, landscaping and urban development, was held at the Istok-RTU MIREA Technopark. The event was attended by representatives of the urban districts of Shchelkovo, Fryazino, Chernogolovka, Losino-Petrovsky, Zvezdny Gorodok, Ramenskiy and Bogorodsky, deputies, representatives of specialized services, public figures and residents.

During the forum, the results of the implementation of the national program over the past five years were summed up. The main topics were the modernization of communal infrastructure, improvement of public spaces, development of the road network and improvement of the quality of life of residents.

Andrey Bulgakov, secretary of the local branch of the United Russia Party, head of the Shchelkovo city district, outlined the key results of his work in the housing and communal services sector.

"In recent years, 40 boiler houses have been modernized in the district, 22 water supply facilities have been repaired, and more than 100 km of heating networks have been updated. But now we have started forming a new national program for the next five years," said Bulgakov.

One of the largest projects in recent years has been the completion of the reconstruction of the Shchelkovsky interdistrict sewage treatment plants. As Maxim Kurako, General Director of the Municipal Unitary Enterprise Interdistrict Shchelkovsky Vodokanal, noted, this facility is of key importance for several districts of the eastern Moscow region.

"This was a truly global effort worth more than 19 billion rubles, implemented as part of the Volga River rehabilitation program. At the same time, the intake of wastewater from the districts did not stop for a single day. Modern technologies of two—stage biological purification and ultraviolet disinfection of water have been introduced at the facility," Kurako emphasized.

Andrey Kononov, General Director of Shchelkovsky Vodokanal LLC, added that one of the most important and difficult points was the issue of the situation in the Bogorodsky district. He noted that, while carrying out the planned work, the task of repairing and reconstructing facilities, Interdistrict Shchelkovsky Vodokanal faced the problem of the so-called eastern water, which was supplied from outside and was of insufficient quality.

"It's a difficult task, but we managed to complete it. That is, we have twisted, so—called redistributed, the water flows in the city from existing high-quality renovated and preserved facilities to this neighborhood," he said.

The forum also presented the results of work on the improvement and development of the urban environment. In recent years, more than 62 public spaces and over 700,000 square meters of courtyards have been landscaped in the districts of the eastern Moscow region. Residents also note the importance of an open dialogue with the authorities and the opportunity to participate directly in shaping the national program.

"For our neighborhood, the issue of water supply has long been one of the most pressing problems. <...> Today we see the result: we have clean water, it has become much more comfortable to live," said Svetlana Okhonova, a resident of Bogorodsky neighborhood.

Igor Bryntsalov, Chairman of the Moscow State Duma, announced on May 19 that United Russia had summed up the results of its national program for a Healthy Family in the Moscow Region. In five years, the number of large families in the region has grown by 37%. At the initiative of the EP, the status of a large family has been consolidated at the federal level, the speaker of the Moscow State Duma recalled. Families with a third child can receive up to 450 thousand rubles for mortgage repayment.
