A boatmaster and the owner of a boat that capsized on Lake Baikal have been detained in Buryatia. This was reported on May 20 by the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia for the region.
"As part of the investigation of a criminal case initiated into the provision of services that do not meet the requirements for the safety of life and health of consumers, the skipper and the owner of the vessel were detained," the ministry said in a statement.
