Modernization of Yalutorovsky dairy plant discussed in Tyumen region

Yakub Zakriev, General Director of the Logic of Milk Company, and Alexander Moore, Governor of the Tyumen Region, discussed investment projects related to the modernization of the Yalutorovsky dairy plant, totaling 6.2 billion rubles.

According to the company's press service, during the visit, the CEO of Logika Moloka and the head of the region inspected the enterprise and launched a project to build a production of glazed cheeses. The new facilities will allow the production of about 10.5 thousand tons of cheese per year. According to estimates by Logic of Milk, investments in the project will amount to 3.8 billion rubles.

Zakriev stressed that the Yalutorovsky dairy plant has been providing the Ural and Siberian regions with high-quality dairy products for 90 years. In his opinion, in order to maintain its leadership position, the plant needs automation, the introduction of scientific and production technologies. "We have launched a large—scale investment program that will expand production facilities, introduce robotics technologies, and enter new categories, which will ensure growing demand for dairy products in both domestic and foreign markets," said the head of Milk Logic.

Moore, in turn, recalled that the plant has a rich history: during the war years, it continuously provided products to the front and rear. In 1943, the team was awarded the Red Banner of the USSR State Defense Committee.

The Yalutorovsky Dairy Plant is one of the largest factories in Siberia and Russia, capable of processing about 1 thousand tons of raw milk per day. Finished products are supplied to the Tyumen Region, Khanty-Mansiysk and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrugs, Eastern Siberia, as well as to the states of Central Asia, China and the UAE.
