China extended visa-free regime for Russia until December 31, 2027

China has decided to extend the visa-free regime for Russia until December 31, 2027. This was announced by the Chinese Foreign Ministry on May 20.

On the same day, Russian President Vladimir Putin, at a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping, said that Russia and China would continue the practice of visa-free travel for citizens of the two countries. He specified that such a decision was an additional incentive for building up humanitarian contacts between the parties.
