AvtoVAZ announced the presentation of the improved Niva and other models at the SPIEF
As part of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), AvtoVAZ is organizing a street exhibition of historical, new and sports cars this year. One of them will be the Lada Niva Legend SUV, which has received significant technical and ergonomic improvements. The company's press service informed Izvestia about this on May 20.
Details about the improvements to the classic Niva will be announced on the first day of the SPIEF, June 3. The stand will also feature one of the first VAZ-2101 produced in 1970 from the collection of the AvtoVAZ Museum and the new Lada Azimut crossover, which will be launched in the third quarter.
In addition, sports cars will be on display in the VinoGrad theme zone: racing Lada Iskra Cup and Vesta TCR. Lada Iskra will be located at the stand of the city of St. Petersburg - as noted in the company, it bears the same name as the heroic operation to break the siege of Leningrad 83 years ago.
AvtoVAZ has become a national partner of the SPIEF for the fourth year in a row, continuing its cooperation with the Roscongress Foundation. In 2024, the company presented the Lada Iskra model at the forum, and in 2025, the Lada Azimut made its debut.
Earlier, on May 18, AvtoVAZ announced the start of shipments of SKM M7 light commercial vehicles to the Lada Business dealer network. The recommended retail price of the new product starts from 2.86 million rubles. By the time shipments started, AvtoVAZ had collected more than 100 confirmed orders for the M7.
