Russia is striving to supply consumer products to China due to the popularity of marketplaces in China. This was announced on May 20 by the Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Oksana Lut in an interview with Izvestia columnist Viktor Sineok.

"The goal is to deliver consumer products with Russian tastes as soon as possible. Because Chinese citizens and residents like our products," said Lut.

According to the minister, in 2025, the trade turnover between Russia and China increased by 21% and reached $11 billion. Luth also noted that cooperation between the two countries is developing in parallel.

During his visit to China on May 20, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the trade turnover between Russia and China has grown 30 times in 25 years. In addition, Putin said that Russia continues to remain a stable and reliable supplier of energy resources, despite the crisis situation in the Middle East.
