The main part of the delegations joined the participants in the negotiations in a narrow format.
Putin thanked the Chinese President and the representatives of the Republic of China for the invitation and the warm welcome, calling the relations between Moscow and Beijing a model of interstate relations in the modern world.
Xi Jinping, in turn, noted that the two countries intend to fully implement their agreements, strengthen the foundation of mutual trust and expand friendship.
Putin arrived in China on a two-day visit at the invitation of Xi Jinping. This trip is timed to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty on Good-Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation, which is fundamental for bilateral relations.
