Nikitin announced an agreement with China on the expansion of the border crossing in Zabaikalsk

Moscow and Beijing are particularly actively developing common border crossings, in particular, the parties are expected to sign an agreement on the expansion of one of them, located in Zabaikalsk. This was announced to Izvestia on May 20 by Russian Transport Minister Andrei Nikitin.

"One of the most important such moments is, of course, the border crossings. And today we will sign [with China] the expansion of the railway border crossing in Zabaikalsk. This is such a big serious step forward," he said in an interview with Izvestia correspondent Nikolai Ivanov.

The head of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation clarified that the parties are also working on projects related to international corridors.
