Starting from September 1, Russian schoolchildren will begin studying the Artificial Intelligence profile as part of an advanced computer science course. This was announced on May 20 by the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Kravtsov.

"As an example, I will give you the new profile "Artificial Intelligence", which we have included in the Olympiad in computer science. It turned out to be so in demand and relevant that starting from the 2026/27 academic year it will be introduced into the school curriculum as part of an in—depth study of the subject," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
