The issue of the possible transfer of Iranian uranium to Russia is being discussed during the negotiations. This was announced on May 19 by American Vice President J. D. Vance.

"Such things are discussed during negotiations. <...> I'm not going to make preliminary commitments during the negotiations," he said during a briefing at the White House.
