A civilian injured in an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces has died in a Kursk hospital.

A civilian injured in an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on a private house in the village of Markovo in the Glushkovsky district on May 18 died in hospital. This was announced on May 19 by the governor of the region, Alexander Khinstein.

"To my deep sorrow, a man who was injured yesterday in the village of Markovo in the Glushkovsky district died in the hospital," the publication says in the Maks messenger.

He noted that the deceased's wife is in intensive care, and she is currently receiving medical care.
