Nebenzia said the threat to the lives of specialists from the Russian Federation due to the attacks on the Bushehr nuclear power plant

Reckless and illegal actions, including attacks on the Bushehr nuclear power plant in Iran, have threatened the lives of Russian specialists working at the facility. This was announced on May 19 by Russia's Permanent Representative to the United Nations (UN) Vasily Nebenzia.

"All these illegal and reckless actions have not only brought the entire Middle East region to the brink of a nuclear and radiological catastrophe, but have also created a threat to the safety, life and health of Russian specialists working at this facility, as well as their families," he said at a meeting of the UN Security Council on the Middle East.
