Sechin spoke about Rosneft's provision with hydrocarbon reserves for half a century ahead

Rosneft is provided with hydrocarbon reserves for almost 50 years ahead. This was stated by the head of the company, Igor Sechin, in an address to shareholders contained in the annual report.

According to Sechin, the company has discovered six new fields and 112 deposits in a year. According to the Russian classification, hydrocarbon reserves increased to 21.7 billion tons of oil equivalent by the end of the reporting period. The recovery rate according to the international classification of reserves was 122%, the head of the company noted.

Rosneft's production in 2025 reached 246.6 million tons of oil equivalent, or 5.02 million barrels per day.

"At the same time, in the context of the weakening of the OPEC+ deal in the fourth quarter, the company demonstrated one of the highest production growth rates among the world's largest oil companies," Sechin stressed.

The volume of production of liquid hydrocarbons in 2025 amounted to more than 181 million tons, gas — almost 80 billion cubic meters.
