Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping make statements to the media following the talks in Beijing. Izvestia is broadcasting on May 20.

Putin went to China for a two-day visit at the invitation of Xi Jinping. The trip is timed to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Agreement on Good-Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation, which is fundamental for bilateral relations.
